Georgia came to live at the VandenBerg house at 8 weeks old. I (her mama) found her on Craigslist at 2 days old, and even
though my husband said she looked like a little hamster, we still couldn't resist. Georgia's mama was a purebred Spring
Spaniel, and her daddy is a mystery (she was an 'oopsie' litter). As Georgia grew up, we realized she is much more energetic
than her doggy-brother, Dozer. She's very smart, and a little neurotic. After obedience classes, starting agility, Georgia
still had tons of energy to burn and her quirky personality made her a bit high maintenance. Ok, quirky is an understatement,
she's just really strange.
Some of Georgia's favorite activities include running and jumping, so we thought we'd give flyball a try. Even though
Georgia had never even put a tennis ball in her mouth and had no idea how to 'fetch', I knew she'd love flyball. And she
does! Georgia is still new, but has made me so proud! She even gets compliments on her box turn. Georgia's current fastest
time is 4.49 seconds.
Other than flyball, Georgia loves playing with her doggy brother, hanging out with her doggy girlfriends Tina and Asia,
learning new commands and tricks, long walks on the beach, sitting in rooms alone staring at the wall, and trying to eat
the cat's food.
