CeCe began life October 2005 in a litter of show bred Aussies
from two long lines of championship dogs. She began showing (and
winning) at an early age.
We first met CeCe when she was 18 months old and took her home that
same afternoon. We immediately knew this dog was the pet we were
seeking. She quickly became a part of the family.
Although meant as Terry's dog, CeCe has bonded with the entire
family. I train and exercise with her daily, but she can't wait to
greet Dona when we get home from work. Extended family members
and guests are welcomed with equal enthusiasm.
Anybody with food or a few minutes for a game of tug is her friend.
Like most Aussies CeCe is a busy girl. We do our best to provide
her with structure, routine and exercise. In addition to her Flyball
training she attends weekly classes in Obedience and Agility. We
hope to be competing in those venues in the summer of 2008. Although
Conformation is not a high priority for us, we intend to keep showing CeCe
in the ASCA altered class until she has her championship. CeCe also
accompanies me on home visits for Aussie Rescue and Placement Helpline
(ARPH) as a breed representative. She has done very well with the
cats and children we have encountered. CeCe earned her AKC CGC
(Canine Good Citizen) in June of 2007.
CeCe will be competing in her first Flyball tournament in late
February 2008. She still has some "passing" problems but she
improves with each weeks practice.
