Ari was adopted by Deborah from the humane society in Lacey, WA in 2001
at 3 months old. He was found running around a hospital parking lot
covered in paint. He has always had a desire to please and playing
with tennis balls, which was a good start for being a flyball dog. Ari
began his flyball training at 4 years old and competed in his first
tournament with his handler, Ben, about a year later. He is the tallest
dog on the team, but that doesn't stop him from improving his box turn and
speed. Being on the Jet City Jumpers has helped Ari become more
comfortable with strangers handling him and being around dogs. Other than
flyball his favorite things to do are play frisbee, pull sticks out of
rivers and be next to his humans.
Ari is mostly retired and enjoys socializing during flyball tournaments rather than racing.
